The company

A different kind of mining company.

Sasquatch Resources Corp. is a Vancouver-based company listed on the CSE, focused on recovering metal from historic mine waste - and leaving every site cleaner than we found it.

The story

Most explorers hope to find a deposit. We start where one was already found.

British Columbia's early mining camps were ruthless about grade: at Mount Sicker, ore grading below the ~8% copper cut-off wasn't worth shipping. The result is piles of waste rock at surface that still carry high-grades of valuable minerals - but also quietly leach contaminants into the surrounding environment.

Our goal is to transform this waste into modern value and clean up a century-old mess. Since listing on the CSE in September 2022, we've assembled six properties around this thesis, assessed numerous waste piles, consulted with mine closure experts, and engaged with permitters, all with environmental rehabilitation at the top of our minds.

The model

Assess, recover, remediate.

The same three moves at every site. Small footprint, short timeline, clean exit.

01

Assess & sample

Grid sampling, channel sampling and backpack drilling establish what the waste piles and near-surface mineralization actually hold.

02

Sort & recover

No chemical, closed-loop, crushing and ore-sorting units work on site to separate high-sulphide material from benign rock. No new mine or mining infrastructure is required.

03

Remediate & restore

Acid-generating rock is removed, open shafts and adits are filled and made safe, and ground that has been bare for a century can finally return to nature.
