Copper, silver and gold in high-sulphide waste piles from c. 1915 mining, with visible copper in large surface outcrops.
Extensive high-grade copper-silver-gold system with both waste rock and hard rock potential. Waste rock: Approximately 40,000t in piles from a large bulk sampling program in 1917. Hard rock: Large visible outcrops showing mineralization and extending over significant distances.
On Quadra Island, about two hours north of Mount Sicker, mining in and around 1915 left high-sulphide waste piles still carrying copper, silver and gold. Large surface outcrops show visible copper mineralization, suggesting hard rock potential.
Sampling of the waste: a 61-sample grid program (reported October 2025) averaged 3.09% Cu, 84.8 g/t Ag and 0.82 g/t Au.
Sampling of the hard rock: a 1917 bulk sample returned averages of 79.4 g/t Ag, 1.4 g/t Au and 4.8% Cu.
Sasquatch acquired the single 517-hectare claim outright in April 2025.
